About Dr. Chou

Dr. Kevin Chou grew up in Los Angeles where he attended Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School. There the school’s aim was to steer youth towards the field of science and medicine. So at this impressionable time he already knew the value of care and service to humanity.

In 1993, Dr. Chou attended the University of California San Diego where he got his Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. Following which, Dr. Chou did research in Intestinal Bowel Disease at the Scripps Research Institute. He helped to coauthor several papers and presentations.

Then in 2001 deciding against graduate school Dr. Chou was accepted and attended the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. There he dedicated himself to learn the care, art and science of dentistry. Dr. Chou attended an internship between each break. He went to serve the indigent population of places like Lawton, Oklahoma to Redding, California. The invaluable lessons he learned helped to prepare him. It also gave him a good understand for different people and cultures.
In his own practice Dr. Chou has strive to be sensitive to each person’s individual needs. He has given each patient his utmost quality and has also taken over 200 hours of CE courses each year. Dr. Chou is patient and loves children. His goal is to have a practice in which each person’s quality of life is enhanced and each children’s dental experience is pleasant.

About Dr. Magnis

Dr. Yianni Magnis was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. Before deciding to become a dentist as a young man Dr. Magnis enjoyed the sport of rowing. As a matter of fact he is a trained Olympic rower. During those younger years he enjoyed its challenges and won many tournaments.

Fortunately, Dr. Magnis’s father was a successful dental technician. From his father he acquired the passion for dentistry. In 1999 he graduated from Thessaloniki University School of Dentistry. Already a trained dentist immediately following, Dr. Magnis completed two years of Post Graduate Training in the science of Implant Restoration at New York University School of Dentistry. There his efforts were involved in the participation and presentation research projects. He also placed and restored numerous cases of implant systems and restoration.

Then in the years from 2001 to 2003 his dedications brought him to UCLA School of Dentistry implant program. Dr. Magnis was also an instructor for the resident program. At UCLA he lectured, placed and restored implants.

In 2008 Dr. Magnis became a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Academy of Implant Surgery and Oral Implantology. It is a crescendo few can reach. With this recent accomplishment Dr. Magnis intends to provide the absolute best services in implant restoration. He is not only concern with the functional but also the improvement of each person’s quality of life.
